French Chocolates Are Different, Delicious Options!
- Whatever you think you know about France, think again.
- Okay, a lot of what you know or think you know probably has some truth to it. But remember that not everything is as cut and dried as some U.S. Heads of State would have you believe. Just because France and the U.S. are at odds over certain foreign policy does not mean the Frenchmen do not have plenty to offer you. Such as cheese and French chocolates.
For those who have only experienced domestic chocolates up until now, well, you are missing out. Don't get me wrong, the U.S. staples you have grown up with and know and love are quality stuff. But this is a bigger world than your existence makes you think about sometimes and opening your mind to some international chocolates might really do you some good! If you like desserts and chocolate in particular, then you are sure to enjoy all that France and the Western European nations have to offer.
After all, around the globe, French chocolates are historically some of the world's oldest -- and best!
What? No. Being old does not mean that these international chocolate delights have been sitting on the shelves for the longest time. Ha ha. Very funny there mister. What we mean is that the French have been making their chocolate since before the U.S. was even a British colony that became the U.S. That's old. They know their stuff. Like the better-known Swiss chocolates, French products are renowned for their spicy, yet smooth flavors. A true cocoa connoisseur knows that the European exports are richer and often darker than U.S. milk chocolate counterparts. This is true of French and Italian and German chocolates alike. Give them a shot!
