If Ifs And Buts Where Candy And Nuts
We aren't even sure what that means, that phrase above. It certainly doesn't relate to anything going on here. But hey, don't you want a candy bar though? Mmm. Good stuff! Hey, want some candies? Read on and you might just get what you're craving.
When it comes to birthdays and special occasions, trying to come up with an original gift that will be enjoyed and appreciated can be tricky! That's when you may want to consider a candy gift . If you don't have the time, energy or inclination to make a candy gift yourself, there are numerous websites and stores offering a whole array of candy gifts out there.
We all like candy, and we all like to experiment with dessert recipes. Now get a load of this, dessert recipes using candy! How awesome is that? Check out these recipes using candy or chocolates and fun experimenting.
Candy Recipes:
Caramel Nilla Chews
White or Chocolate Almond Bark
Carmel Apple Dip
Chocolete Nilla Wafers
Directions:
1. Dip a small amount of caramel (about a half tablespoon) an place it between two Nilla wafers. Repeat for all.
2. Let freeze for about an hour. (This will make the Caramel easier to work with.)
3. Heat almond bark according to directions.
4. Roll each wafer candy until covered with bark.
5. Place on wax paper and let sit at room temp overnight to let the caramel soak into the wafers. They freeze very well.
White Chocolate Bars
1 package chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 egg
1 package (10 ounces) chocolate milk chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Grease 9x13 pan.
3. Mix cake mix, butter, brown sugar, water and egg in a large bowl using a spoon.
4. Stir in chocolate chips.
5. Press firmly in the pan.
6. Bake 32 to 36 minutes or just until top forms a crust that is dry to touch.
7. Cool completely.
- When it comes to candy and dessert, don't be afraid to experiment.
